Back in the saddle again

Okay so I had no intention of becoming a fair weather cyclist but here I am.  Any riding I've done in the past couple of months has been limited to the occasional trip to the store, other than that it's been too cold for my taste except for a snow ride or two.
This past Monday the temperature made bit to the upper 50's(F) and motivated me to go for a ride.  By the time I was done I had two realizations:

     (1) It's amazing how easily you can get out of shape.
     (2) Just how much I enjoy riding.  What was I thinking?

With that I'll say to warmer days and more time in the saddle.

Bike Furniture

Okay so I'm probably far behind the curve but I saw this on BikeHacks and thought it was pretty awesome.  A company that makes furniture from bike parts.

Tax Hike

Tell Congress to Stop the Tax Hike on Transit Riders!

Transit riders could have their taxes raised by hundreds of dollars annually unless Congress takes action by the end of the year.
Currently, commuters can receive a payroll tax deduction of up to $230/month to pay for bus and train passes, as well as for parking. But on January 1, 2011, the transit deduction will be cut to $120/month -- even though the driving benefit will remain $230! (This was the status quo before 2009, when Congress corrected this unfair disparity. The fix, however, was temporary.)
That's not fair -- and hiking taxes on transit riders will cause many to drive to work instead, congesting the roads and polluting the air. Federal lawmakers must act before the end of the year. Your voice will help.

Take action here.

    BWI Trail

Some quick pictures of the trail that runs around BWI Airport.  The weather wasn't the greatest but it's a nice ride.  I'll have to go back and take the trail spur the goes to the B&A Trail and ride down to Annapolis.

Really wished this had turned out better.  View from observation area.

    The playground observation area.

    On the way home.

    Off the bike

For the most part I've been of the bike for awhile but I did buy a new used bike.  Having not posted in some time I'll start with a question.  I picked up a 84' Schwinn Le Tour off of Craigslist, a work in progress pictures later,  rode it for a long stretch today and very happy.  I'm wondering though if it's just me or do others feel guilty about leaving their other bike or bikes behind?
